Innovate Logistics has, as part of a strategic review of its network, proposed to re-locate the Alcester Depot to Aston. This is a newer larger site in Birmingham, offering its customers a much wider range of services including cold storage, chill storage, case picking and cross dock distribution on a much larger scale.

The 200 staff employed at the Alcester site will be offered alternative employment at the new site. However, Innovate recognise that this may not be feasible for all employees and are proposing to work closely with another two 3PL providers to take the site in Alcester which could also support the employment situation.
