Leading temperature controlled storage and distribution provider Innovate Logistics is celebrating record sales over the last 12 months.

Significant new contracts with blue chip companies including Heinz and Nestle have all helped elevate Innovate's position in the marketplace.

A major contributor to this substantial growth has been the introduction and subsequent expansion of innovate's Commercial Team.  Established in 2004, the Team's main responsibility is to manage the commercial relationships between Innovate and both existing and potential customers.   By improving these communication links, it has been able to enhance and drive growth within the company.

"We have made huge strides over the last three years in helping Innovate evolve into the market leading company it is now," explains Dave Sowerbutts, Commercial Director.  "This year alone has seen a number of significant new business successes that are due to the work of the Commercial Team.  With new developments just around the corner, I am very confident that we can help Innovate to expand even further in 2008.

Innovate specialises in developing client specific logistics solutions for confectionery storage, chilled and frozen order picking, and distribution of convenience meals, meat, fish and fresh produce.  It has 19 depots throughout the UK, including Alcester, Birmingham, Bristol, Chesterfield, Corby, Coupar Angus, Crawley, Dudley, Eye, Heywood, Larkhall, Leeds, Newark, Scunthorpe, Worksop, Nottingham which is the home of the corporate headquarters, and at the Ardo premises in Ashford.
